REVIEW OF KRAKOW SHOW by Łukasz Pytko
If you can understand Polish here is a nice review of Kate & The Sigsworths's recent concert at Alchemia Krakow (Poland) by Łukasz Pytko from lovekrakow.pl! Kate performed there with the fabulous Guy Sigsworth and his son Jan Sigsworth - an aspiring musician. Apparantly the three of them managed to enchant the audience with their sounds...
Fellow Havneviking Agnieszka Potratz (THANKS SO MUCH!) gave a short summary of the article for those who don't speak Polish:
"Performance was amazing, even though at the beginning of it Kate was little bit nervous (audience found it more authentic by this).
She had a great contact with crowd (little chitchats and stuff). New version of "New Day"(made by Jan Sigsworth) got lot of applause and was filled with more electronic beats - Jan was wearing Deadmau5 hoodie, and you could feel his characteristic sound.Kate said that it is "Old song in a new dress".
Author is under huge impression of Kate's charming voice (...)
And in the end he pointed out that it was a great opportunity to see such an outstanding foreign artist for a small price - comparing to our, as he exactly wrote "stars". (...)"
Another Polish fan, Andrzej Kowtunenko, who attended the show added that Kate played TWO NEW SONGS called "A better way to love" and "Mine" as well as a cover version of a song called "Are Friends Electric".
There is also a beautiful set of photos taken by Joanna "frota" Kurkowska >>here<<.
If you are on facebook also take a look at Boguslaw Cibis's photos of the show. He was as lucky as to be there aswell. (Thanks for sharing!)
